Johari A. Barnes is the President of Distinctively Yours Event Management, LLC in Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. Barnes has a B.A. in English from Coppin State University, M.A. in Publications Design from University of Baltimore, and a Career Diploma as a Professional Bridal Consultant from Penn Foster Career School.

For the past 10 years Ms. Barnes has planned weddings, social, and corporate events in and around the Baltimore Washington area. Stated in 2005, Distinctively Yours Event Management is a full-service event management company that specializes in professional personalized special event planning and coordination for individuals and businesses.

Ms. Barnes is the Vice President of the Association of Wedding Professionals. She is also a member of the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Catering Executives, Baltimore Chapter, and the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
