Host: How do I get started on a smart diet plan?

Wendy Reinhardt Kapsak: Most people can get started just by making a decision. Everyday we are faced with a lot of food and physical activity decisions. All those are really important, but overall its just important to decide, decide that you are going to make your health and in this case your diet a priority. Once you say this is the priority, go ahead and write down an overall goal. What would you like to achieve? For most people, it's weight loss. Write down that goal and then say it out loud, write it down, tell someone else so that you have made essentially this proclamation that, Yes, my diet is a priority and I would like to accomplish these things.
