Host: What do I do if it is 10:30 in the morning and I am starving?

Wendy Reinhardt Kapsak: When it is 10:30 in the morning and you are starving that is considered around our office, the attack of the 10:30's, that time when you hear the Jazz music and your stomach starts growling which I want to avoid this as much as possible knowing that it doesn't really provide good office morale because a lot of us tend to get a little cranky when we have not had breakfast. So breakfast is a way to consider do we need to rethink breakfast? Did I eat breakfast? Did I eat enough breakfast that I am not super hungry or ravenous by the time 10:30 comes along? Feeling a little tinge of hunger is a good thing at 10:30, that is fine and that is the place for a snack. So if you are feeling the attack of the 10:30's, two things, rethink your breakfast, make sure you have had a little breakfast somewhere along the way and then mid-morning if you are feeling a tinge of hunger, not ravenous, that tinge of hunger, consider a healthful snack.

Some things to consider, fresh fruit, always a good option, a handful of nuts, some vegetable sticks if you have a refrigerator on hand. Even a can or a cup of soup might actually be really great particularly if it is a cool day.
