Dale Obrochta: My name is Magical Balloon Dude Dale and I am multiple balloon entertainer. What we are going to is make some balloon animals. What we are going to learn how make today is a Poodle. Now, the poodle is going to teach us some basic twists but it is going to deal with sizing and proportion and locking in the balloons. So, let's get ready to make a poodle today.
Alright, let's start with an inflated balloon and what we are going to do is again -- it's only about half inflated. We tie it and we are always working from the nozzle going forward. So what we are going to do is start out with a inch bubble. We got to hang on to it. We are going to make a second bubble, so we have two bubbles. We are going to make three bubbles altogether. If you notice I am pinching and twisting, pinch, twist, pinch, twist. Don't let go this bubble. You let go, everything unspins. So, what we are going to do is take them, bring them together and twist. We are going to take the nose and then like our sword, we will have to take the nose and push it right through the center. This becomes the face of the poodle.
We will give the poodle a small neck which is about a half inch or quarter inch bubble followed by a larger bubble which is about two inches, which is leg. We then make a foot followed by another foot. Let's twist again, we take the two legs, bringing them together and twist. We are going to make a body, so pinch and twist. We are going to do another leg. We then do another little bubble, another little bubble and make the legs. Then we can measure pinch and a little twist and twist again.
Now to lock the balloon what we are going to do is take this balloon, push it through, then spin it around. That will keep the legs from unravelling and to finish up what we are going to create is a little tail and what I did there as if you take the balloon and squeeze it, the air will be forced to the tail. As the entertainers, we have got to blow on it, give it a little dramatization and there we go, that's your little poodle and to finish it up, let's put some eyes quickly on it, little mouth, eyebrows and there we go.
Next thing we will be going onto after the poodle is a teddy bear. So get ready we are going to using the things that we have learned so far to make a cool little teddy bear. It's coming up.
