Dale Obrochta: Hi! My name is Magical Balloon Dude Dale. I am a multiple balloon entertainer. What we are going to making today is a Parrot. Now the parrot is a one balloon parrot and we are going to start off making that, that's part of the How To series of doing balloon animals. So, start that, let's learn how to do a parrot and after the parrot, get ready we are going to learn how to make the frog. So let's get started here.

We are going to start out with the parrot and to create the parrot, we are going to use a balloon that is roughly three quarters inflated. Okay, so we are going to have a little tail on the end and what we are going to do, this is going to teach us a new twist and actually use some twists that we have done before. We are going to start out with the one inch bubble. Actually, it's a three inch bubble. What we are going to do is this is going to be the beak, we are going to make the head.

Now to make the head, we are going -- this is three inches, we will need about a four inch bubble. So it's going to be larger than the beak. What we are going to do is take the nozzle that we did in the teddy bear, spin it, wrap it, pull it through and that will lock the balloon in. This is going to be the parrot's beak, this is going to be the parrot's head.

Now we are going to do a new twist that we haven't done so far, which is called the Roll Through and what we are going to do is make the body and the wings of the parrot. We are going to start out with roughly five to six inches of balloon. We are going to pinch, twist, we are going to fold it back down, pinch and twist. What I am doing is I am actually measuring the height, you have seen me do this through the video, I am actually measuring. Spin then around so it's locked.

Now, what we are going to is measure again, this is going to be the chest of the parrot. We are going to measure the length, pinch it, give it a twist and here comes what's called the roll through. What we are going to do is push this balloon through the other. So, it's actually rolled through those two, like a set of bananas. We will spin the head around, we got the body, the wings, the beak, the head. Now we just need some feet, which is a one inch bubble, a one inch bubble. This is going to be the feet.

We are going to twist them together, just like we did with the mouse. We are going to have a little leftover here, what we are going to do is take this, this little tip and tie it right into here. We are going to take it and we then just press that together.

Now to finish it off, what we are going to do is take the tail and we are going to do the little squeeze, not a lot that will help shape it. Now we bend it, similar to like where you saw me doing the monkey's tail, I bend it, give it a little squeeze here. That will actually shape the balloon. What you now have is a parrot.

To finish up the parrot, what we are going to do is add a little detail, the eyebrow, beak, nose, eye, eyebrow, we will do chest feathers. There we go, we have our parrot. You could add some feet if you like, the parrot.

Hopefully, we are going to be able to go onto the frog, so practice this and next thing you know we are going to happening along with the along. So, get ready we have to make a frog.
