Host: What are some credible sources of information on food allergies?

Bob B. Gravani: Well today with the increasing number of food allergies, that are becoming prevalent in the United States, there are a number of agencies and organizations that provide some very credible, outstanding, educational information to consumers and anyone interested in learning more about food allergies and big eight food allergens and allergy management and they include organizations like the International Food Information Council, The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network, the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, the Food and Drug Administration and many, many other really good sources of information. So, anyone who is food allergic, it's really up to you, to get this information, it's out there, it's credible, it's easy to obtain and it's extremely important that we spend some time learning more about this important problem in ways that we can actively manage and control it because for many people this is a life threatening situation, so the more we learn about these food allergens, the better we are able to control them. That's the bottom line message.
