Frankie Dell: Hi I am Frankie Dell, I am a Tennis Instructor here in the Los Angles area. Today I am going to show you the fundamental of the serve. I'll show you everything from how and where to stand? How to grip the racket? How to toss the ball? How to swing? And I'll even show you how to put some spin on the ball.

Now to play tennis you are going to need a few things. First of course, you are going to need a tennis racket, going to need some tennis balls and the shoes, shorts and a shirt. Now make sure you actually get some tennis shoes and not let's say running shoes. Running shoes are made to go forward and back only. Tennis shoes are made to go side to side. Tennis is lateral sport and tennis shoes are made to move laterally. And if you are going to play tennis, I strongly suggest you be in reasonably good shape. It's a demanding sport and then finally use some sunscreen. Before we get started let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up playing junior tennis in North Carolina. Then I played collegiately at Campbell University. Then I taught for many years at Midtown Tennis Club in New York City and now I teach privately here in Los Angles. So let's get started. 1
