Hi, I am Suzanne McCeney and I am here at ScrapbooksPlus in Chantilly, Virginia, we are talking about how to teach you how to make a scrapbook today. Now I am going to show you how to choose embellishments. Embellishments are the little do-dads or extra that you put on your page with your photograph. Here is one with prima flowers, and all I am going to do is put some bling in the middle to jazz it up. These already have sticky on them and you just stick them in the middle, and it adds depth and texture to your embellishment. Thats one embellishment. Also, you have stickers. All I have done is put this sticker on a mat, just like we would mat a photograph, I have matted this sticker. Now I can just add this to my page. Here is a circle that has been stamped, all I have taken is a paper clip from office supply, its plastic coated, and I have put a ribbon on it for an embellishment. This you can add to your book. Next, there are three dimensional embellishments, these are 3D, they already have adhesive. They come in themes that you can purchase at scrapbook stores. So, I can just lift these off and put them on to a mat or next to a photograph, or maybe use this as a journaling block on my page. This is what you can make out of scraps. Take a piece of paper, cut it into a tag shape. Take a little strip that I have ripped, and all I am going to do is add some brads in here. A brad, you just stick it through, and you open it up on the other side. So, there is a brad, and maybe you can even use buttons. Just put a little adhesive on your tag and stick your button on there. This also can be used as a journaling tag or as an embellishment. Next I am going to teach you how to design a page.
