Tamir Linhart: Hi I am Tamir Linhart, owner of Golden Boot Soccer and I am here today to teach you how to score soccer goals. Once you get into a scoring position, you have to make a decision, should you strike the ball high or low? There is no one way of doing it. Many, many goals are scored in the upper part of the goal, many, many goals are scored in the lower part of the soccer goal. But something to think about, when you look at the goalkeeper from your point of view, from your eyes, from your height the most open area of the goal is the upper part of the goal, but the thing is, the thing that goes into the net is the ball. So from the ball's point of view, the open part of the goal is actually the lower part and that sometimes is easier to score. Another thing is that the keeper has to go down to save the soccer ball, that takes time which increases your chances of scoring a goal, when you strike it low. Again, this is not the only way but something to think about when playing soccer.
