Matt Young began playing Monopoly during the harsh winters of his youth in Colorado. He currently studies game theory and mathematics at Rochester Institute of Technology where portions of his studies are devoted to modern games of chance, including Monopoly. An experienced and skilled player, Matt also works hard to understand the principles and theories that make this game so great.

Matt Young: Hello, I am Matt Young, and this is how to play Monopoly. I will be talking about the basic rules and preparation you need to play a game. I am going to walk you through the steps of buying and developing a property, theory and advise for wining the game and variations on the game, as well as the necessary pieces and the ultimate goals of the monopoly. First things first, we are going to need a complete game set of monopoly. Today we will be using this vintage set, which comes in this cool, wooden book box. It's my personal favorite, nice wooden pieces and everything. I like it very much. Next, safety, we have got very small pieces in part of the game, so are going to want to keep it away from young children and animals that might try and eat them. You want to have health back, because the game can last quite a long time sometimes. A healthy heart, because, it can get a little heated between the players sometimes, so you got to keep everything relaxed. When everybody have fun, be happy. Now a little bit about myself, I am a mathematics in game theory major at Rochester Institute of Technology, and I've won quite a few games in monopoly in my day. Anyway, let's get started. 1
