Host: What type of commitment will I need to make when adopting a cat?

Bridget Speiser: There are a lot of factors to consider, when you are bringing any animal into your family. You are hopefully adopting this animal to spend it's life with you. So, you really need to look at various factors.

I am going to break things down, probably into about four really concrete areas that you need to really examine. The First of which is time. How much time you can devote to your animal.

The second will be financial. The third is facing any behavioral challenges and the fourth is working together as a family unit and how the animal will get the best care.
