Now, we are going to go into calf raises. This can be done easily on a step, holding on to a banister or something thats nice and solid. We are going to just do single leg, getting one arm to balance you, coming down, going all the way back up, raising all the way up on that calf, really squeezing it. All the way down, all the way back up and then just do these to burn out, so we just want to get those calves burned out; maybe you get 10, 15, 20 reps on that and really get that calves burning, then well switch legs, go the opposite side, and same thing. Coming all the way down, all the way back up. Be up as high on those toes as you can. Squeezing that calf and again, just try to burn those calves out, really get them warmed up, really get them fired up there, and as soon as you burn them out, take a little rest and get in another setting. And thats going to conclude our lower body strengthening program.
