Before AdmissionsConsultants was formed, David Petersam, the company's founder, successfully guided several friends and acquaintances through the turbulent admissions process that encircles the nation's elite business schools. After witnessing how successfully his admissions strategies worked for these these individuals – and being told by these same applicants that he should start an MBA admissions consultancy – AdmissionsConsultants was formed.

David Petersam: Hi, I am David Petersam. I am the President and Founder of Admissions Consultants, a consulting firm that helps aspiring business school applicants. Today, I am going to be answering a lot of commonly asked questions about the business school application process, but first, let me introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me. I have received my MBA from the University of Chicago and while there, I volunteered in the admissions office. I helped the school reach accept-reject wait list decisions on applicants of the program and I have a first hand perspective on what the schools truly seek from successful business school applicants. Today, we have a whole team of MBA consultants with a wide variety of specializations. Collectively, they have made over 100,000 accept-reject wait list decisions and each year, we work with well over 1,000 MBA applicants that are applying to the world's top business schools.
