David Petersam: The answer to this question is generally no. For the most part, if you are smart about selecting your recommenders and you made sure they complemented your story themes. They mitigated your weaknesses and they highlighted your strengths.

David Petersam: The answer to this question is generally no. For the most part, if you are smart about selecting your recommenders and you made sure they complemented your story themes. They mitigated your weaknesses and they highlighted your strengths. There is very little when additional letter supporters going to say but won't be would done it what's your recommenders already stated in their recommendations. One of the caveats for this however is if you are wait-listed. Often times wait-listed applicants benefit from sending an additional letter of support to the schools. These are general rules of thumb obviously but that's pretty much outstands and again, for the most part the answer is a general no.
