Before AdmissionsConsultants was formed, David Petersam, the company's founder, successfully guided several friends and acquaintances through the turbulent admissions process that encircles the nation's elite business schools. After witnessing how successfully his admissions strategies worked for these these individuals – and being told by these same applicants that he should start an MBA admissions consultancy – AdmissionsConsultants was formed.
Am I judged any differently if I re-applly to a school that rejected me?
Host: Am I judged any differently if I re-apply to a school that rejected me?
David Petersam: Re-applicants are sometimes viewed a little bit differently than first time applicants. Sometimes they even have separate essay questions that they have to answer. However, it doesn't mean that your chances are going to be greatly affected as a re-applicant, unless you did something really outrageous and you wrote some essay question or you gave some interview that raised a tremendous amount of red flags, you still have as good chances as re-applicant as a first time applicant.

What you need to do as a re-applicant, show them that you are sincere about their school, show them that you really want to go there and show them how you have grown and how you have become an even better applicant now than when you first applied to the school.
