    for the video orientating the last layer edges, my yellow face only has a bar with a block on the side in the center. the block is always facing outwards is there a way to make the t. i have tried all the other ways. nothing works

Bob has been solving Rubik's Cubes since 2001 and competed in over twenty official contests all over the world. He has held several world records and national titles for Rubik's puzzles, including the Rubik's Magic and Square-1. He currently averages about twenty seconds to solve a Rubik's Cube with a personal best of 13 seconds. He has even solved the puzzle blindfolded in several official competitions. At Rutgers University, Bob founded the RU Rubik's Cube Club, which hosted official competitions twice each year, attracting competitors from all over the country in addition to several international competitors. He has also developed several fingertricks for Rubik's Cube algorithms that are used by some of the fastest speedcubers in the world. Bob is also the webmaster for cubewhiz.com, a site designed for speedcubers to learn new tricks and become faster.  Bob is a math teacher at a high school in New York City. He received his B.A. in mathematics from Rutgers University and is currently pursuing a M.A. in mathematics education from the City College of New York. He also has a great interest in the sciences, especially physics and chemistry.  Bob currently lives with his family in Kearny, New Jersey.

Solve Rubik's Cube

This video series will show how to solve a Rubik's cube. Bob Burton, Rubik's cube puzzle expert, will go through a beginner solver's method and include tips on how to prepare an ordinary cube for solving. The beginner's method describes how to solve the first layer cross, the first layer corners, the middle edges, the last layer orientation of edges and corners, and last layer permutation (placement) of edges and corners. The video also includes an example solve with each step explained as it occurs.

I am Bob Burton, Rubik's Cube Expert and Webmaster of cubewhiz.com. I have been solving Rubik's cubes for about six years and compete in competitions all around the world. Now I am going to teach you how to solve a Rubik's cube puzzle. All you need to get started is a Rubik's cube.

First I will show you how to prepare a Rubik's cube for solving. Then next I will explain each step. The first step being solving the first layer across, then the first layer corners, next the middle layer edges, next orienting the last layer edges, then the last layer corners, and finally permuting the last layer edges and last layer corners of the Rubik's cube. Now that we are ready, lets get started.
