Ayesha: Hi! I am Aisha with Picture Perfect Makeup and today, we are showing you some of our professional cosmetic tricks that you can use at home to be your own professional makeup artist everyday. What we are going to talk about now is caring for mature skin types, which is a little bit different because you want to give it a little bit of extra care. One of the most important things that you can do to take care of your skin is to use great skin care products. The first thing you want to do is always use a great cleanser to remove your makeup everyday. You can use a foam or a gel, or a cream. Generally, with mature skin type you want to use a cream because it has a little bit more moisture. Once you have washed your face you are going to use a light moisturizer and this is a trick that makeup artist use all the time so pay attention. We are going to take a couple squirts of your basic moisturizer and mix in a little bit of cream highlighter. What this does is it is a very, very subtle way to add a kind of a luminosity to the skin. A highlighter is design to reflect lights and to give a little bit of a glow and as we age a lot of time the skin lacks some of that luminosity so, this is a really easy way to put it back in. All you need is a little bit, mix with your moisturizer, and now be sure you mix it in well because you don't want to see any traces of that illuminator. And you can already see how that kind of gives your skin a little more of a glow.
Your next step is to use an eye cream. Eye cream is especially important. Number one because it's going to protect and repair the areas around the eyes, which is really the area of the skin where it is most sensitive and most fragile. So, you are going to tap it right along the orbital bone, which is this bone right here, around your eye. So, now you are hydrated and prepped for great makeup.
Now, let's talk about makeup color.
