Host:What do some mini-stroke seem to clear up without treatment?

Dr. Nina Solenski: The reason that many of them go away is because they are caused by clots that get reabsorbed. So think about it as the same process that makes clots when you hit a leg or hit an arm, that bruise will eventually go away. It's the same process, it just might be a little bit faster. So when that happens the blood flow gets re-established and so the signs or the symptoms that you are experiencing go away.
