Kenya Bailey: Hi, this is Kenya Bailey, I am going to be showing you how to do a deep tissue massage. Now we are going to start with massaging the arms. I'll pull the arm down to the side and to the front. That's a nice stretch and that just helps to stretch the muscles out and to feel good all over, pretty much. Then from there, I'd take my oil again and apply it, starting from the Trapezius muscle, going down to the bicep, this with the shoulder over just to apply the deeper pressure and you can do the tricep muscle, then use the -- I just do the bicep and the tricep at the same time. This just helps relieve any pressure that you have in your arms from working out or just with sitting at the computer.

Within the arm region, you definitely want to avoid what is called an endangerment site, which is the cubital. You pretty much have to go pass there because a lot of the veins, arteries that go to the heart actually come from this area. You go down, just make sure you avoid that area, then you go down to the brachial, the forearm. Go ahead and go up and down or pretty much like that. A deep friction move, going down to the fingers and pretty much what you are doing is just relieving any pressure that is in the hands and it is just a great move, it actually help your client, if they suffer from Carpal Tunnel, Osteoporosis, Arthritis in their fingers, it helps them. But you have to make sure that the pressure is okay especially in elderly patients you cannot do too hard just because of the bones. So you just want to go ahead and pull starting just -- this move is called stripping and then you can dig into the palm of their hand with your hand and you go back up.

That's how you do deep tissue massage on the arms. Next I am going to show you how to massage the legs.
