Transcripts
Hi, my name is Krista Landgraf and I am the swimwear buyer for South Moon Under. I have been the swimwear buyer for six years and I search the country for the hottest designer swimwear. South Moon Under was founded in Ocean City, Maryland in 1968 and we have 11 locations up and down the East Coast including an Internet store. Today, I am going to show you how to find the hottest designer swimsuit for your body and we have three models to help us. First, we have Amanda, second, we have Meyer, and finally, we have Lilly. I will also show you how to care for your designer swimwear as well. Let's get started.
The first thing you need to decide is whether you would like a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit or a tankini. Recently, the one-piece has taken a sexier approach. If you are looking for a one-piece bathing suit, go for something that's a monokini, which is cut out on the sides or go for a plunging neckline. If you are looking for something with a little bit more coverage and something maybe you could with your kids to the pool, opt for a tankini. This is a meet-and-greet tankini, where the top meets the bottom, so you don't have any tummy showing, but it also gives a little bit more coverage to women that would like to camouflage the tummy area. Also, opt for something with a little bit of hardware interest at the top or different neckline to give it a little bit more interest or maybe just a little bit more sex appeal. Another thing to think about is the style of your swimsuit. There are many myths out there and one of them being the myth of the boy short. Many women think that boy shorts work well for camouflaging hip and thigh issues. This is not the case. If you have any hip or thigh issues, I would suggest wearing either a skirted bottom with an A-line shape or you could do a higher leg line that actually makes your leg appear slimmer and longer. Boy shorts work the best for someone with a boyish figure because they tend to give you a little bit more curve on your bottom half.
Another myth is the Brazilian bottom. Brazilian bottoms tend to scare women because they feel like they are over exposed, but actually Brazilian bottoms work really well for making the rear appear smaller. Brazilian bottom tends to cut in a little bit on the cheek and it gives you a little bit of a cheekier feeling on the bottom. This actually makes your rear appear smaller because if you stretch a ton of fabric across your bottom, it actually makes it appear bigger. Now, I am going to take you to show you how to find the best swimwear for your body and we have a few models to help us with this process.

This video is useless. If I had a body like one of these girls I wouldn't need your help selecting a swimsuit. The average women in the US wears a size 12. You guys really missed your target audience.
Frustrating by Tom11 at 04/06/09 01:03AM Flag
I don't see any models that have more than just skin on their bones. It'd be nice to know how to find a swim suit for someone who weighs more than 115lbs. I mean seriously.....
Great Swimwear! by newfashion at 02/05/08 09:02PM Flag
This time of year it is tough to find great swimwear, it’s nice to have a place like South Moon Under to find the perfect must haves for any beach bound vacationer. I really enjoy Krista videos; it’s a great way to see the swimwear on real girls and Krista really knows what she is talking is about. Her job is so cool. For me it’s helpful to watch these videos and then visit their web site. www.southmoonunder.com
Nicely done by CSproductions at 12/19/07 09:47AM Flag
The audio is crystal clear, the lighting is good, the camerawork and the editing are commendable. Overall a nicely done series. Krista is a bit on the stiff side, but that's to be expected from someone who isn't trained for on-camera work. Her explanations are very good, and she's definitely an expert in this area. The only thing I'd do differently is avoid reintroducing myself in each video. Overall, though, a very good job throughout the series. And, of course, great-looking models like

Krista is really helpful about swim wear, and the girls aren't bad, either.
