Roberto Tapia: Hi, My name is Roberto Tapia from Capoeira Sul da Bahia, Monitor Bucho and today I am going to show you how to play Capoeira. Now I am going to show you how to do the Ginga. Ginga is the basic step of Capoeira. First you move your leg back and at the same time you move your arm. Make sure your arm don't cover your eyes. Later you can move your leg forward and let your other leg going back and at the same time your arm is going to be at the front.
Then one more time put your leg in front and move your other leg and arms. Then we can start to move it and do it a little fluently. That's the Ginga. It's our basic step in Capoeira. Then you can speed your -- increase your speed and you can do a little fluently.
I can switch to Ginga too and I could do a slow too. In the other angle it kind of looks like this. So, we saw the first Capoeira step called Ginga. This is the basic Capoeira movement and make sure to practice a lot because all the Capoeira movements are going to burn from Capoeira foot forward Ginga. It's very important our Ginga.
Now we are here with Emma Goldberg and we are going to show you how to do Ginga with the partner. Start with the Ginga and look one each other all the time. Then you can do a little variation of Ginga, it's called a movementation.
So I am going to move to here and Emma is going to move that way. So then you can do a movementation with the Ginga and we also would do a Crossing Ginga which is fine too.
One movementation again and now we are back to the same Ginga.
