Roberto Tapia: Hi, my name is Roberto Tapia from Capoeira Sul da Bahia, Monitor Bucho. Today, I am going to show you how to play Capoeira. Now I am going to show you how to do a Macaco. Macacos are basic Capoeira acrobatics. A lot of Capoeiristas use Macaco to do the game preview.

First you do like this, Ginga, stop, right base. Now if you want to do the Macaco for that side you can put the leg here first. If you want to do Macaco for the other side, put your leg here. We're going to start with this, going down, keep looking at your partner with this leg here and with this other hand reach the floor like this. Make sure to just -- all the hip going down, and also make sure to keep looking at your partner.

So one more time, other side, here, here, hand and we're going to do this. Okay, are you ready? Let's do it. First, the slower, now we can -- other side, one more time, a little faster now and keep Ginga, other side, Macaco. Remember to be safe, be all the time with some expert or with some Capoeira expert. Also remember use a mat, that's how you do a Macaco in Capoeira. Now, I am going to show you how to do a Papagayo that is other acrobatic Capoeira movement.
