Transcripts
Roberto Tapia: Hi, my name is Roberto from Capoeira Sul da Bahia. Today, I am going to show you how to play Capoeira. Now I am going to show you how to do Achutato or Folha Seca.
First, start with the Ginga. Stop in the Ginga. There are so many ways to do Achutato. The basic is basse, you turn and kick with this leg, very high, it's like a back flip that you are going to up. So stop here, shoot and at the same time with this other leg jump. So one more time, here and jump.
Remember jump higher then you get the correct height and also use the momentum of your leg to carry your body. That's how you do Achutato or Folha Seca in Capoeira.
Now I am going to show you how to play Berimbau, a Capoeira instrument.

This move is sometimes called Mortal Chutado (Kicking mortal) or Folha Seca (Dry leaf) in capoeira. Roberto does it very gracefully and dynamically! Good work!
