Anna Zeccolo: Hi, I am Anna with Tiny Chefs. Today, we are making fun desserts for kids and we are going to make Chocolate Brownies. The ingredients that we will be using for chocolate brownies will be flour, brown sugar, coco powder, white chocolate chips, salt, milk chocolate chips and butter, vanilla and eggs.
For this dessert you will need a small saucepan, a large bowl for mixing, a large spoon for mixing and measuring cups. The first step to making chocolate brownies is to grease or butter your nine inch pan so that when the brownies come out it's easy removal.
The next step will be melting half a cup of butter over low heat, until it is completely melted down. The next step will be to incorporate all of our dry ingredients into the mixing bowl. We can start with our brown sugar and you are going to tightly pack half a cup of brown sugar into this measuring cup. When you measure brown sugar it's a little different than when you measure other dry ingredients because you want to pack it down tightly just like that, pop it in and it's a cup of flour. When you measure flour you are going to scoop it out and then level it off. This is half a cup and there is one cup.
We also need a cup and a half of sugar and one more half, put actually about all that's in the bowl. Put that all in there and we are also going to use three-fourths cup of coco powder, this will make it nice and chocolaty. So one-fourth and three-fourths and we also need one half teaspoon of salt. Here you go.
Now that that's all in the bowl, we can go ahead and mix it. Our next step is to crack three eggs into a little bowl. You want to make sure that you do this into a separate bowl in case you get shells and that way you could just pull them right out, no problem and you are going to -- each time we do that we are just going to put it right into the dry ingredients, and a third egg. We are also mixing in two other of our wet ingredients, the melted butter which was one half of a cup and one half a teaspoon of vanilla, that's going to make it very yummy and then we incorporate that together.
Our next step is to add in one fourth cup of white chocolate morsels as well as one fourth cup of milk chocolate morsels and of course, this doesn't have to be perfect. Some people think the more the better, so use your judgment. Once they are in the bowl, we are just going to fold them in by using a spatula.
After everything is incorporated, we are going to simply put the brownie mixture into this nine inch pan. Just pop it in. My gosh this looks so good. Then you are going to spread it out so it's nice and even. Here are our brownies before they bake. We are going to pop them in the oven for 30 minutes, 30-35 minutes on 350 degrees. So here we have a plate of our delicious brownies and coming up next we will be making another fun dessert for kids, S'mores.
