Anna Zeccolo: Hi, I am Anna with Tiny Chefs. Today we are making fun desserts for kids. We are about to make Rice Crispy Treats, an all time favorite. The ingredients that we will need to make Rice Crispy Treats, very simple, cooking spray, rice crispy cereal, marshmallows and butter. We will also need a couple of supplies. We will need a 9x13 inch pan, a large saucepan and a spatula. The first step is to butter or grease our 9x13 inch pan and the second step is to melt three tablespoons of butter over low heat in a large saucepan.
After that we are going to add in four cups of mini marshmallows to our melted butter and we are going to stir it thoroughly until it's melts down. The next step is to add in six cups of rice crispy cereal. Once you add the cereal in, you want to go ahead and stir it around, pretty quickly to try to coat the cereal with all of the marshmallow. Make sure to get real down into the pan to get that marshmallow up, here we go.
Dump it right into the pan here. One way to be sure that the Rice Crispy Treats get pushed down the way you want them to be is to just butter a spatula so that it doesn't stick to the spatula and push them down, so that they are all uniform, just like that.
Now we just wait till the Rice Crispy Treats are cooled down and hardened up a little bit, we are going to cut them into squares and then we have yummy Rice Crispy Treats. Here we have a plate full of delicious Rice Crispy Treats and next up will be a Peanut Butter Chocolate Squares dessert.
