Dina Igoe: Hello! I am Dina Igoe, owner of Apple Seed Maternity & Baby Boutique in Old Town, Alexandria. Today, I am showing you how to build the perfect maternity wardrobe and we are starting with the Bella Band. This is the Bella Band; it is the girls best friend in the beginning of their pregnancy. It doesnt -- its way on assuming, but its definitely going to help you wear your clothes a little bit longer. During those first few months when you're not quite showing yet. This is a piece of very stretchy fabric and you put it on as over your pants. And you're able to unbutton and zip your own pants. As you can see, Cameron (ph) has it on right now; the thick part is on the bottom. Make sure wear it the right side up and the skinny part is on the top.

So, it really just looks like you're wearing a tunic top. So, if you put your top over it, it doesnt look strange; it just looks like you are layering, but in the mean time its really helping you keep up your own pants, because they are unbuttoned and unzipped. So, do you wanted to show them. Yes, you can wear it up like this or you can feel free to fold it down especially in the early stages. Whats really nice about the Bella Band is you can wear it in the beginning of your pregnancy, throughout the whole thing for support and after you have had the baby. Because afterwards you're also going to maybe needing some transitional clothing considering you might not be back in your regular clothes, but the maternity will be too big. This is a perfect way to hold up your pants without showing that you are holding up your pants. Let me talk a little bit about the size. They run one, two, three, which means small, medium, large and really just depends on your figure. If you're curvy, we'd suggest going a size up; if you're flatter in the hip area, I would suggest going a size down. These come in every color and some of them even have lace and they are the perfect piece in the very beginning.

Now, that you have the Bella band, the next thing is to really help pick out right size in the maternity clothes and that is what we are going to talk about next.
