Tina Cohen started out in the theatre world at the age of 8. She continued on for the next 13 years learning all of the inner workings of the stage and this is where her passion for makeup grew. Whenever she was in a show she loved to create character makeup, and soon enough all of the actors were asking her to do their makeup as well. In college, she decided to learn as much as possible about beauty and special effects makeup, and became a board certified makeup artist by the state of Maryland. After getting her bachelor's degree, Tina moved to Los Angles and attended Joe Blasco Makeup for Film and Television School. For the last 5 years, Tina has been working in the film and television industry. With over 5 movies credits and over 40 music videos, Tina has grown tremendously and learned all aspects of beauty makeup, special effects, as well as airbrushing. She also went to school for cosmetology, where she learned how to cut, color and style hair. To date, Tina has worked with major celebrities and musicians, and this busy makeup artist and hairstylist was recently nominated for best makeup in a music video by the 2008 MVPA awards. Tina Cohen continues her makeup and hair career with passion, professionalism, and pride.

I have also worked for numerous makeup lines, Skinmarket, Aura Science, Sephora, and MAC Cosmetics. But I prefer to freelance!
