Vionna Jones: Hi, I am Vionna Jones, owner of Fit in DC, LLC. And I am showing you how to burn calories during the holidays. The calorie burning circuit that we just did, can be done two to three times per week. You want to take a rest day in between performing these workouts just to give your muscles a chance to rest. However, on those off days you can do cardio, you can take a walk, go for a jog, ride your bike, get on the electrical machine at the gym. And if you are having a hard time finding an extra 20-30 minutes to do your cardio during the week on your off days. You just want to make sure that you exercise as much as possible in your daily life.

For example, instead of always taking the elevator, you can take the stairs. You can make your commute healthier by getting off of the metro or the bus, a stop or two early and walking the rest of the way home or walking the rest of the way to the office. You can also take walk breaks during your day instead of hanging out at the water cooler or by the coffee machine, you can take a walk around the building or take a walk around the block outside.

And another good way to make sure that you constantly are keeping track of your goals is to find an exercise partner. You are more likely to achieve your goals if you have someone to work with and when you are doing that holiday shopping, try to remember to park at the back of the parking lot or further away from the story of the building that you are going to and then walk the rest of the way. And those are ways that you can sneak exercise into your daily life without even thinking about it.

And so these are few ways to burn calories throughout the holidays and also hopefully you can use these tips to stay healthy throughout the year. Thank you for watching.
