Greg Towe: Hi, I am Greg Towe with L.

L.

Bean. Today I am talking to you about ordering clothes online. Now we are going to talk to you about how to get proper measurements for women's clothing when ordering women's clothing online. Amanda is our model today and she will be assisting us. First place we want to get a good measurement is around the chest area. So you are going to want to go to the first point of the bust and get an accurate measurement all the way around, and you'll have a measurement there. So then what we want to make sure we have is a good accurate waist measurement. So that's going to be right in the mid-point of the waist, all the way across. Along with the waist measurement, we want to have a good hip measurement. So we want to be at the point of the right hip, go all the way around, and once again having a good measurement there. You also want to get a solid inseam measurement. So at the inseam, you want to go to the inside of the crotch and go all the way down to the lowest point, to the lowest point of the hem on the pants that are there. So we want to get a good sleeve measurement and the way to do that is the right point of the shoulder blade and then we are going to go all the way down to the wrist. So as we can see here Amanda has got about a 26.

5 inch arm length.

The other places that we might want to measure to get accurate measurements are going to be around the head and the hands for hats and mittens or gloves. So to get an accurate head measurement you are going to want to start right here and go all the way around the head, and you are going to get a good hat measurement.

Now for the hat measurement, like all other measurements, there will be a conversion chat online at your particular retailers who will be able to convert that for you. So to get an accurate measurement for glove size, you are going to want to measure right around the knuckles excluding the thumb, and go right in through here. So as we can see here, Amanda would be right about a seven.

Now these have been some tips for how to order women's clothing online. Next, we are going to talk about how to order kid's clothes.
