Joe Trujillo: Hi, I am Joe Trujillo of the hospitality Training Institute and I am here to tell you about how to setup your home bar for a holiday party. As a professional bartender and bar tending instructor, I have a few tips and recommendations to really make your holiday party a success and not breaking the bank at the same time. First and foremost, people often go out and buy too many of the extravagant and expensive drinks. Although they can really complement your party, they neglect the fact that they haven't stocked up on the staple and basic drinks such as your Rums, your Gin, and your Vodkas which will please more of your people at your party than the one or two that can appreciate a fine Scotch.

Let's move to the next question of how much liquor to buy. It's always a tough question to answer but for your standard party of 10 of moderate drinkers, I would recommend the following, two bottles of Vodka, two bottles of Rum, one bottle of Gin, one bottle of Triple Sec, and one bottle of Tequila. That should more than cover your entire party, for a party that's lasting anywhere between two to three hours. Perhaps, the biggest mistake out there involves ice. Most people don't plan it for enough. My recommendation is to usually have about twice the amount that you actually insist of it using. Speaking advice, it is one of the biggest contributors in helping limit the cost for your holiday party. Try to fill up your glass with ice and I guarantee you, you won't be going through as much liquor than without it. Another money saving tip for your holiday party is something as simple as using a pour. Often people are talking and aren't paying attention to much they are pouring. Next thing you know they have poured half a bottle in a simple glass. Whereas have to use to pour in the same conversation is often a lot more difficult to fill up the glass to the same level. Remember, play the role of a good host and sure that your guest aren't drinking and driving and have a safe means of getting home.

So those are some bar tending service for a successful home party. Have a happy and safe holiday.
