Bad Techniques
When throwing a punch the elbow should be as close to the body as possible. When throwing a ROund house Kick, high or low, the elbows shoulbe tight to your side and guard up. a Common mistake when throwing a kick is to compensate the balance by the opposit hand, Bad Technique. Practice balance whithout giving up you guard.

Don't Understand Why
These guys have like the best striking equipment ever and they aren't even very good. And I agree, bad technique but this other guy kornerstone commenting is stupid. "A common mistake is to throw your guard hand down by your side", Kornerstone please quit sounding dumb. Thai's throw their hand down by their side which are statistically the best kickboxers on Earth. You use your shoulder to protect your face from punches when you throw your guard hand down by your side.
