Stephanie Kraft: Hi, I am Stephanie Kraft and I am a Certified Hypnotherapist. I am talking about Life Between Lives hypnotherapy. Right now, I am talking about how to prepare for an LBL session. Before the session, make a list of questions. These questions can be answered by your council members or by your guide. You should also make a cast of characters. A cast of characters is a list of people who have had the most influence on your life whether good or bad.

Write the person's name, their relationship to you and a few adjectives describing their personality. Bring the cast of characters and your list of questions with you, so you can go over it with your hypnotherapist before the session. Because an LBL is usually between three to four hours or longer, it's a good idea to have a good meal before your session. Don't have any caffeine on the day of your session and don't drink too much water immediately before the session. You can get up and go to the bathroom during the session and your hypnotherapist will guide you right back down into the same level of relaxation that you were before you got up and this is really no problem. You should probably not plan anything for after the session; most people want to just go home and process what has just occurred. If you are traveling from out of town, it's a good idea to stay in a hotel that night and travel the next day. Because these sessions are tiring, long drives over two hours are not recommended. Normally, the hypnotherapist records the sessions so ask about that before you schedule your session if you would like a recording of it. So that's how you can prepare for an LBL session. Next, I am going to talk about some tips to help you have a successful LBL.
