Tu-Anh Nguyen: Hi! I am Tu-Anh with Polished by Tu-Anh. I am showing you how to apply wedding day makeup on Asian complexion and now I am going to show you how to prep your complexion by applying concealer, foundation, powder and blush. Let's get started here. We have our model Kathy. I am going to use a concealer that has a little bit more yellow undertone because Asians tend to be warm tone than on Caucasians. You are going to apply it on the top of the eyelid. Because we have natural dark circles and it goes around the whole eye and not just underneath. So you want to make sure you start with a nice blank canvas. So that is why I am applying concealer right now all over. Okay, nice shaped eyebrows. Open your eyes and then we are going to apply it underneath. Remember to always use a concealer brush as you are doing this because it comes on a lot smoother. Okay, look at me. Now I am going to apply to the other eye. She has very nice, fair, medium tone complexion. Open for me. So it is going to be very easy for the next step since we don't really have a lot of redness to cover. Okay, and this is how we apply the under eye concealer. The next step I am going to do is foundation but I am probably just going to put a little bit just to even out the skin tone. Just a little bit on the top. If you see here her complexion is very nice and clear. So I don't really have to do much to it. Maybe a little bit of redness there. Okay, and now I am going to set her foundation with powder and I am going to use a mineral powder for this and this powder already had a little bit of shimmer in it. So it is going to give her a nice glow and you are just going to apply it with a powder brush and doing it all over. Also on top of the eyes as well. Really, the key to wedding day makeup is you got to remember you are wearing white so you want your complexion to be as clean and clear as possible. And you also want to look natural but flawless because if you wear too much makeup it is going to clash with the white. And then the next thing I am going to do is I am going to apply blush and with blush on Kathy because she has warm undertones, I am going to pick a blush color that is more on the pink side, on the cool tone side to even that out. Because if you were to pick a warm color brush, it is going to make her look very orange and brown and you just want to dot a little bit of that on the cheeks. Turn this way for me. Thank you. Right on the apples, so it looks a lot more natural. Okay, and that is how we prep the complexion for Asian skin tone.

Next, I am going to show you how to apply eye colors.
