Tu-Anh Nguyen: Hi! I am Tu-Anh with Polished by Tu-Anh. I am showing you how to apply wedding day makeup on medium to darker skin complexion. And now I am going to show you how to prep your complexion using concealer, foundation, powder and blush and our model today is Roselin. The first step I am going to do is we are going to match the concealer and we are going start with above and under the eyes. Look down for me please, perfect. Actually this is the perfect color. Again the same thing with medium to darker skin tone. You still have dark circles and it still comes out and it's still a little darker so you can see, so that's using a concealer is very important. And I am applying it both underneath the eyes and above the eyes. Look down please, okay, thank you. And then let's do the other eye, thank you. In her case she has got very big eyes, so I am actually using a foundation brush to get the job done faster instead of using a typical concealer brush which is a lot smaller and then now I am going to use foundation to even up her skin tone. So let's switch brushes and this is a foundation brush and we are going to start with the T-zone right here, okay. I am going to even it out. I am going to go down the nose area. I normally don't really use liquid foundation unless the person's skin is really, really dry. I tend to like the cream because it doesn't get oily so much later. Now we go on the cheeks and now we even that out and depending on the coverage you want, you can put on the whole face. Well you don't have to. I am applying it a little bit here so that I can even out Roselin's skin. But she has got nice texture and it looks very smooth and then now we go down to the chin. On medium to darker skin tone the T-zone instead of looking redder it actually looks darker. So you always want to make sure you balance that out, okay. So as you go through you can see what areas you need more coverage and you can build on top of that, okay. And now we are going to apply the powder and what I am doing on Roselin, I am actually going to use a bronzer as the powder because the color of the bronzer is actually the perfect color for her skin tone. See how that's coming together nicely there. And the last thing I am going to do is I am going to apply blush and I am choosing a blush color that is more of a dark mauve and that's not too brown. And just to give her a little bit of color on the cheeks but you don't want to overdo it. Okay, if you see I am just dotting. Looks great. Turn this way please. And the blush actually has a little bit of shimmery ingredients in it, so it kind of gives her a nice glow.

And that is how you prep the complexion for medium to dark skin tone. And next I am going to show you how to apply eye colors.
