Sara Robinson: Hi there, this is Sara Robinson and we are here at Easel Hair Studio in Georgetown D.

C. and we are going to style wavy hair today. We will get the hair prepped and ready, then from there we will actually style the curly hair with a blow dryer and get it all dried and then show you a couple of ways to finish the hair off.

The tools that we are going to use today, we will use a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment on the end. We will use a wide tooth comb, if you prefer depending on how wavy your hair is. We will also, when we finish the hair, one option will be to use a one-inch curling iron; another way is with the bobby pins, and that will pull the hair back a little bit off your face.

There will be three products; the line I will be using today is the Kevin Murphy line. One, on the wet hair will be a curl enhancing lotion, any good product will do. Once the hair is dry I will show you how to use a curl refresher spray, and then we are all done I will show you how to use a hair spray as well.

So there is not much safety to be aware of when we are styling hair, but one thing just to make sure of, if you are in your bathroom or near any water sources make sure your electricity stays away from the water.

So before we get started let me tell you a little about myself and a Little about Easel Hair Studio. I am a licensed hairstylist and a licensed cosmetology instructor and I am a Board Certified hair colorist.

Easel Hair Studio had been here about five years and they have been mentioned in the Washingtonian Magazine in the last two hair issues as one the top places in the city to get your hair done.

Let's get started, in the next clip we are going to prep the hair.
