Moe began his career behind the bar 13 years ago on the beaches of Acapulco Mexico. Since then, Not only has he bartended all over the world, but competed in and won various local, national and international competions in speed, accuracy and flair. He has been teaching his trade at the Professional Bartending School in Arlington Va since 2002. He has also taught bartending for the O.A.S (Organization of American States) in the Caribbean, as well as led alcohol based seminars for the Smithsonian institution in Washington D.C. and made various t.v appearances exhibiting flair. In 2005 Moe took his show from behind the bar, and put it on stage where he and his flair bartending friends put on their "POUR BOY" show. The show is a flair bartending exhibiton, where he and his friends perform in an all night event showcasing their bottle flipping talents. When asked what the most important part of bartending, Moe responds "Service...good service will always make up for a horrible drink, but a great drink will never make up for bad service.".

Transcripts
Moe Harris: Hi! Guys. My name is Moe Harris and Im here at the Professional Bartending School in Arlington, Virginia. And Im about to show you the third in the sequence of tricks, thats going to wind up with an amazing pour. Weve already showed the first two parts. The third part is going to look like this. What Im going to do is Ive got a bottle and tin right here. All Im going to do is lift it up and catch it behind my back, in my left hand. Now, the difficult thing is Ive got a tin in this hand so as soon as I let go with this Im going to want to grab that, its almost like this. See that again from behind. Ill show you want I did. Im just going to lift this up, grab this as soon as I let go with this Im going grab this with my right hand and catch this with my left hand. Finally, what Im going to do, is Im going to take this tin and this is just a little bit of target practice. Gorgeous. Thats going to allow you take this thing upside down into a pour, into your glass. Lets put all those all those three sequences together. Shall we? We shall.
First sequence, split-throw-catch; second sequence, we pull-throw-throw-catch; third sequence, behind the back, little spin, target practice into a pour, its just that simple.

"just that simple".. eh? by fixer11 at 10/07/09 10:22PM Flag
I like ya Moe.I'm sure it is "that simple". Just the same as it is simple to juggle 5 running chainsaw's. It's the emphasis on how long you need to practice that might be lacking a tad. Still, I'm no where near gay, but if I was a girl, I'd let ya do me.
