It all started in my early teens washing cars in the back of my fathers barber shop. After eight years in the United States Secret Service, I made an unsuccessful run for the United States House of Representatives in 1980. In 1981, I decided to start my own business, Pro Clean of Tysons Corner, Inc. After 26 years of success, we are still washing and detailing cars from Volkswagons to Rolls Royces and have grown to be one of the largest detailing businesses in the Washington DC area. “It takes more than a bucket and a hose to clean a car”, Washingtonian Magazine, 1986

Hi, I am Michael, Pro Clean of Tysons Corner. Now, that weve got the car washed, tires and the rims, the body, weve got the inside vacuumed, weve dusted down and everything. Now, we are going to do one of the final touches, were going to get the windows clean.

Very simple again, Windex store brand, very cheap, very inexpensive. I would like to give it a little shake. We use lint free towels, you can use paper towels, and some people use newspaper, whatever suits you to do it. Check your window first, make sure there is nothing on there. If you have something on there, get a razor blade, it will come right off, dont scratch the window obviously. So, you dont need very much. The more you put on there, the more streaks you are going to get off, the harder it is to get it off.

Just a nice quick wipe in, I usually go over one time and you give it a good wiping and then with my towel, I take my fingers, stick them in the edge of the towel and walk around the corners. All the way around the corners like that, so you get all the corners, make sure you get your mirrors and all the edges. Again when, you do the front windshield, make sure you get the windshield wiper blades up. Doing the insides, the same thing, exact same thing on the inside of vehicle. When you do the inside, make sure you get the interior mirrors. Put the sun visor down and get the mirrors inside the sun visor. Thats pretty much how we do it, doing the windows and everything.

Final touch and then car is done. Basic wheel dressing most of you know what is armor oil, you can buy it in cans, you can buy it in pump sprays. Goes very easy on the rubber, give it a nice little coat, overtop come back and forth like that. It will dry by itself. Thats it youve just washed a car.
