Hi, I am Bill Frishman with BGB builders here in Haymarket, Virginia. I have been in construction for the better part of 20 years, doing everything from custom homes, remodeling, additions and commercial jobs. Both my father and grandfather were builders, so its pretty much all I have ever known. Today we are going to talk about one of the most common do it yourself projects installing crown molding. Installing crown molding is a great and inexpensive way to add value to your house as well as enhance the dcor of any room. As in any of these do it yourself projects, the more and more you repeat them and the more experience you get, the easier these jobs will become. But with just a few starter tips I am going to show you today, we will be able to safely and properly install crown molding in your house. We are going to through everything from basic safety tips to tools you are going to need, to material selection and estimation, to measurements, to cutting, nailing, layout, as well as cock putty and paint. Let us go ahead and get started.
