Dave Swanson: Hi! I am Dave Swanson of the World's Greatest Hobby Program and we are helping you get started in model railroading today. In this segment we want to look at all the resources that are available to you to help you progress in model railroading. The first and foremost resource I would like to encourage you to use is greatesthobby.

com and that has a wide variety of resources that help you get started.

One of the things you are going to find is a list of all the hobby shops that are in the area that specializes in helping beginners. You will also be able to find a list of local clubs and model railroads that are open for you to see. One of the best ways to understand how to build your model railroad is to see how others are doing it. A third set of resources is a set of videos that take you through the step-by-step construction of a 4 by 8 foot HO model railroad. You will find this to be a good resource in building your railroad regardless of scale.

Another thing that you are going to find is a link to a variety of train shows, model railroad manufacturers and other publications that can give you great knowledge into the hobby. One of the best things you can do is to go to a model train show and understand what all is available in the hobby. It gives you a good overview of the entire hobby of model railroading. I hope on this clip that we have given you some more information to help you enter the hobby of model railroading. We think that model railroading is the worlds greatest hobby and we hope you will join us in the World's Greatest Hobby.
