Stephanie Kraft: Hi, I am Stephanie Kraft. I Reiki Master Teacher. I am showing you how to do Reiki. Right now, I am explaining how Reiki was reintroduced to the world. It's believed that Reiki was here along with the first humans. Everyone had the ability to do hands-on healing at that time. Humanity lost disability when they became disconnected from spirit. Reiki was reintroduced to the world in 1922. A man by the name of Mikao Usui, lived in Japan, and he wanted to find out how Jesus did hands on healing. He went to the top of the mountain and meditated for 21 days. On the 21st day in a mystical revelation, he received all the information about Reiki. How to do the healing, the sacred symbols and how to use them and how to teach Reiki. He went back down to his village, and started teaching Reiki and doing Reiki healings. One of his students Mrs Takata moved to Hawaii and brought Reiki to the west. From there it has spread around the world. So that's how Reiki was reintroduced to the world. Next, I am going to talk about all that is involved in learning Reiki.
