David Rotan: Hi! I am David Rotan, video production manager with www.

monkeysee.

com. I am discussing the post production process and deliverables required for a video created through our MonkeySee Filmmaker program. Right now, we are going to talk about how to mail your project into us. Once you have got your video completed and exported to a data disk, and you have completed your Project Submission Checklist and you have got all of your deliverables together, you are ready to mail it into us. The deadline for your submission is typically 2 weeks after the assignment was awarded to you. This is listed in the initial awarding e-mail that you have received. Filmmakers can use whatever shipping method they prefer to send in their deliverables. We recommend using the United States Postal Service Priority Mail option. When using Priority Mail Packages, it typically get to us within 2-3 days. We will include an additional $10 to your payment to cover the shipping cost. When your package is in the mail, be sure to send an e-mail with all of the tracking information to filmmakers@monkeysee.

com. So we will know when to expect your project. The first thing we look for is that the package contains everything. Are the data disk inside the package? What about all of the sign release forms? What about the Project Submission Checklist? Finally, we make sure that the W9 Tax form is in there.

After that, we will put in the disk and make sure everything that needs to be on the disk is there. Are all of the files properly named as required? Are all of the thumbnails for each and every clip included? Are the correct amount of clips included in the project as agreed upon within the Videographer Release? Is the experts photo, biography and Project Submission Checklist, all included on the disk? After we make sure that all the deliverables are there, we will take a look at the video for quality assurance.

First, we will look at the introduction clip. Is it by our format and standard and in the correct order? We will take a look at the overall video. Is it 16X9 anamorphic wide screen as required? We will look at your expert. Are they very thorough? Do they really go through step-by-step the process of what they are demonstrating in a great educational way, are they great on camera? Did you use enough b-roll, cut aways, close-up shots to really see what the expert is doing? Are there any audio problems? Is the audio too soft or too loud? Is the video in focus or out of focus in a lot of the shots? We will look at all of these quality issues. We will also look at each individual clip and make sure that the introduction and the conclusion of each clip is done properly by our format and guidelines. HI! I am Merrliee Jacobs, Founder and CEO, 3 Hot Tamales. Today, I am showing you how to make Tamales. Right now, we are going to show you how to prepare corn husks and mix your masa. If everything is satisfactory, then the video goes into our database ready for upload. If there are problems with the video, as I have mentioned with editing, then we will send an e-mail to the filmmaker and describe the changes that need to be made before we can accept the project.

Once the video goes live on www.

monkeysee.

com, an e-mail is sent out to the filmmaker to notify them. We will also send out an invite link that allows the expert to set up a user name and password to associate themselves with that video. Finally, payment is sent out to the filmmaker the following week through PayPal. That's how you edit and send in a MonkeySee How To video. Thanks for watching.
