Laurence Streidel: Hi! My name is Laurence Streidel. I am the owner of Winners Window Tint here in Rockville, Maryland. In this segment of Tint Your Ride, I am going to show you how to properly install a rear window with our window film.

First thing you want to do is pull off your release liner, thats suppose the adhesive. Take your bottle of soap and water and spray all the adhesive that has been exposed. Get a nice even flow to it; make sure there is nothing that you have missed. You dont want it to stick on the actual glass, if you have missed anything. Now once thats been done, we are going to go ahead and move it from our prep area directly to the actual window. Now while we are placing the film on to the glass itself, lets position it into the areas where its been cut. Use your hand to slowly maneuver all of the film into its areas that it needs to be. Take your time with this; you want to make sure that everything is covered, you want to make sure there are no light gaps whatsoever. Also, you will want to watch out for your defroster lines as well.

Well, now that our window film has been applied to the glass, next step that we are going to have to go through is to go ahead and squeegee all the water out. Use your Blue Max Squeegee, start from the middle of the actual window and work your way outward. From the middle outward, follow the actual defroster lines. Its going to really save you from not working the film itself, just take your time with it. Make sure that you get some even and overlapping strokes.

Alright! Now, we have all that completed, we are going to go ahead and just bump our edges. You will want your hard card; you will also want your paper towel. Wrap your paper towel around the actual hard card and from there, you just want to go along the edge of the film to make sure you push out all of your excess water.

Well, now that we have completed our bumping of our rear window, we want a last little bump here. You have now officially completed your rear window installation. In our next segment, we are going to talk about final cleaning and prep work.
