Katie DaRin: Hi! My name is Katie DaRin from SMARTHINKING. Today, we are going to teach how to write a college paper.

A few things you will learn in the video are how to write a good thesis statement, different types of essays you will write and how to document your sources. Students can get easily overwhelmed when trying to write a college paper, so there are a few common mistakes they try to avoid and a few key points to make sure to include in your writing.

You don't need much to get started. All you need is a pen, paper, computer and a librarian to help you research. Before we get started, I will tell you a little bit about myself. I work in the writing department here at SMARTHINKING.com. We are an online tutoring company that provides essay critics for students who submit their essays to us. So let's get started learning how to write a better college paper.
