Robin Lee Harmon: Hi! My name is Robin Lee Harmon. Here today at Tangerine Dream Beauty Bar, I will be showing you a few simple prom styles on our model Carla.

In this video series today, I will be showing you a few different looks. One with the hair down and straight, one with the hair down and curly and then with the straight look, we are going to go and modify it into a different look and then also the same with the curly hair style. We will also be going over some usage with different hair accessories, glitter, hair ties, flowers and butterflies. So its a merely fun stuff today. So before each look that I am going to share with you today, I would like to go over some tools and products that we will be using. For our first hair style, we are going to need a blow dryer, some hair clips, a brush, a comb, some rubber bands and a flat iron. We are going to use a spray mousse, a light hair spray and then a spray gel. As far as safety concerns go, they concern the flat iron. You want to make sure that you rest your flat iron on a heat resistant surface.

I have been a make-up artist and hair stylist for 15 years. Currently, I own Tangerine Dream Beauty Bar where we offer hair service and make-up service. We have been voted one of the top hair color saloon from the Northern Virginia area through Washingtonian and Nova magazine. We have some great talent here and its a wonderful place.

So for our first look, we are going to be working with straight hair and a down style that can be worn, its very easy for you to do yourself.
