Stephanie Kraft: Hi. I am Stephanie Kraft and I am a Hypnobirthing Practitioner. I am talking about having a baby using the Hypnobirthing method. Right now, I am explaining what parents learn in Hypnobirthing classes.

In the classes, parents learn several different kinds of self-hypnosis and relaxation techniques. They also learn how to increase the production of endorphins in their body. Endorphins are hormones in the body which act as your body's own natural relaxant and pain killers. Endorphins are 200 times stronger than Morphine. So it's really important to learn how to increase their production.

They learn three different breathing techniques. They learn how to avoid medical intervention, so they can birth naturally. They learn how to avoid medical inductions by learning natural means of induction, if that becomes necessary. They learn to use imagery and visualization as a tool for easing your birthing. They learn about nutrition and exercise for pregnancy. They learn about relaxation positions and birthing positions.

So that's a little bit about what parents can expect to learn in Hypnobirthing classes. Next , I am going to talk about the benefits to taking Hypnobirthing classes.
