HypnoBirthing Practitioner Stephanie Kraft discusses planning your birth experience.
Transcripts
Stephanie Kraft: Hi, I am Stephanie Kraft and I am a Hypnobirthing Practitioner. I am talking about having a baby using the Hypnobirthing method. Right now, I am talking about planning for your birth.
First of all, to find a Hypnobirthing practitioner in your area, you can go to hypnobirthing.
com and click on the Practitioner Directory. There are our Hypnobirthing Practitioners all around the world.
When looking for a care provider, it's important that they are supportive of natural child birth and Hypnobirthing. If you find out that they are not supportive of the way you have chosen to give birth, it's important that you find one who is. A lot of the success of your hypnobirth depends largely on how supportive your care provider is. Another important part of planning for your birth is having a birth plan. In class, parents are given birth preferences forms that they can fill-out in order to create the birth that they want. Those forms are then given to their care provider, so that the parents wishes are known ahead of time.
Normally the room for a hypnobirth is a quiet dimly lit room with few people. Low voices and an air of sacredness are important. Hypnobirthing benefits the baby by bringing her into the world drug free, without violence, fear, loud voices and bright lights. I believe that by bringing babies into the world in this calm and serene manner, we are making a lasting and positive impact on humanity. So thanks for watching and happy birthing.
