How to Make White Sangria
Ingredients
7-8 ounces of white wine4 ounces of triple sec
8 ounces of pineapple juice
1 apple
1 orange
Instructions
Cut the fresh fruit into squares. Add the fruit to the shaker. Add ice, pineapple juice, triple sec and white wine. Shake it all together and pour it into glasses.

Javier Quiroga: Hello! I am Javier Quiroga with To Your Taste Catering and today we are showing you how to make some delicious dishes for a Latin Fiesta. Today I have my brother Alonso, bartender extraordinaire, so he thinks. He is going to show you how to make a some drinks that go along really, really well with the dishes that we have shown you a little while ago. Alonso.
Alonso Quiroga: Thank you Javier.
Javier Quiroga: You are welcome. Alonso Quiroga: Welcome back. We will be preparing now a White Sangria. The traditional is the red which comes from Andalucia, Spain. There are always changes in drinks and so we are going to create this fabulous drink. Ingredients you will be needing, white wine, a little triple-sec, Grand Marnier, pineapple juice and some fresh fruit, such as apples and oranges or grapes. So Javier, will you do me the honors?
Javier Quiroga: What am I doing?
Alonso Quiroga: Can you please open this up? Meanwhile, I will slicing the fruits. The key to this kind of mixed drink is to cut the fruit in little squares because you want to taste the fruit in the drink.
Javier Quiroga: What do you use, just oranges and apples?
Alonso Quiroga: Oranges and apples are the most common or else you can also do berries. Javier Quiroga: Or grapes may be?
Alonso Quiroga: Grapes could work. Javier Quiroga: Here is your vino.
Alonso Quiroga: Thank youJavier Quiroga: You are welcome. Alonso Quiroga: I am slicing here. Javier Quiroga: The great thing about this, I think, is that you can make it for the Spanish Fiesta, Latin Fiesta, we are talking about. You can make this, put in a bowl, perhaps, and then you put over some ice and they can be like a self-structured, kind of, thing. The same with the Margarita that we showed you beforem because they were to make things a little bit easier for you, so you can enjoy your party a little bit and I think that works pretty good.
Alonso Quiroga: Yeah, exactly you can put them in pitchers, you can put them punch bowls, you can serve them individually for that long day of work. Javier Quiroga: It makes a difference that which size you cut them, right? Alonso Quiroga: That's correct. You don't want them too chunky in there because also the nice part of it is when you drinking Sangria, you can get piece of apples or some oranges there to chew as you are drinking.
Javier Quiroga: Okay, perfect.
Alonso Quiroga: Green apples will work too. Javier Quiroga: Now you are making enough here for like two drinks, right? Alonso Quiroga: Yeah, a little more. In this case, you need to be using a pitcher but this works as well. We add a little bit of ice. Then you want to get about, since we will be making two drinks, we are going to say about 8 ounces of pineapple juice. We will put about 4 ounces of Grand Marnier. You can substitute that again with triple sec. Javier Quiroga: OkayAlonso Quiroga: This is made of, also this is like a peach schnapps, gives a little different flavor because it's also the type of winy juice, it's almost like white wine but just type every white wine you have, every grape is categorized differently. Then what we are using here is a very traditional Spanish wine, is very vanilla flavor, hence little nutty, like you. We put about a 7-8 ounces of the white wine and you shake it. To get the flavors in there, mix it up nicely. Javier Quiroga: You make this ahead of time or just has to be done right away like a Margarita. Alonso Quiroga: You can make it ahead of time. I wouldn't suggest more than hour before because the fruit can get a little wilted. Javier Quiroga: I will probably add the ice later on.
Alonso Quiroga: Yeah. Javier Quiroga: Alright, that makes some sense. Alonso Quiroga: I am going to use a glass. Look at this, beautiful fruits going in. I am going to just pour it like that. Can you just smell that flavor? It's nice and sweetness. Javier Quiroga: It smells really good. Alonso Quiroga: There you have it, a very refreshing drink, your White Sangria to enjoy.
