Ben Canty: Hi guys! I am Ben with All Star Legacy and I am here with Lauren today. We are showing you cheerleading jumps and techniques. We are going to start with our beginner level jumps. We are going to learn two jumps today in the beginner level. We are going to do the Tuck Jump and we are going to do a Spread Eagle. First, we are going to show you a Tuck Jump in fast motion, then we will break it down for you. Here we go and 5-6-7-8, 1, hit 2, 3, up 4, 5, 6, stand 7. Good, let's break it down. All of our jumps today that we are going to be doing are going to be from he High 'V' Approach.

We are going to start 5-6-7-8, high 'V' 1, hit 2, down on 3 and we are going to come around to our tight motion on 4 and it's going to be a high 'V'. We are going to bring our knees up to our chest for a Tuck Jump and keep your chest up the whole time.

Also, remember to point your toes the whole time when we jump today. We are going to land on 5, hold 6 and stand on 7, good. We will show you that one more time from the side, so that you can see that our knees come right up to our chest. 5-6-7-8, 1, hit 2, 3, up 4, 5, 6, stand 7, good. That's our Tuck Jump.

Now we are going to go on to our Spread Eagle. Spread Eagle just means that you want to keep your legs locked out and your toes pointed. Here we go, we will show you one fast and then we will break it down. 5-6-7-8, 1, hit 2, 3, hit 4, 5, 6, stand 7, good.

In a Spread Eagle you want to make sure that your knees and your shoe laces are facing the front. So we will be 5-6-7-8, high 'V' 1, hit 2, around 3, high 'V' again on 4, knees and shoe laces to the front, land 5, hold 6, stand on 7. Let's do that one more time quick. 5-6-7-8, 1, hit 2, 3, hit 4, 5, 6, stand 7.

That was our beginner level jumps. Next, we will move on to our intermediate jumps.
