Pirooz Sarshar: Hi! My name is Pirooz Sashar and I am the Co-Founder of the Grooming Lounge. Today, I am going to teach you the basics of men's skin care. First thing we are going to start out doing is we are going to identify the four skin types that relate to men. From there, cleansing which means the proper way of washing your face; exfoliating, we know what is exfoliation, so we will call it exfoliation/scrub; toning which is using a toner; moisturizing and now moisturizing is not for girls, guys are into moisturize also; masks, and you thought your mom is the only person that wears a mask but there are a lot of cool dudes who wear masks. From there we are going to your eyes which is a very interesting area because a lot of men asks us questions everyday about their eye issues, whether they have baggy eyes or hangover eyes or dark circles under their eyes. We will finish up with sunscreen, anti-aging and acne. You are not going to need much to get started with your skin care routine. Cleansers, some moisturizers, some exfoliators, specific masks, specific eye creams. Believe it or not, I know it sounds a little frou-frou, but it will be a lot of fun. Some sun screen and some anti-aging creams which we will get into. So these are all very basic products, really simple products and can be purchased anywhere. I started the Grooming Lounge with my co-founder Michael Gilman in 1999. We have a website that we developed in 1999, that reaches thousands of men across the country. Our job is to educate and help men with all their grooming questions, grooming education and grooming needs. We also have stores where men come and get groomed and get signature Grooming Lounge services. We are also product manufacturers.
