Hello, I am Ray from Dads Handyman Services. I am going to show you how to do general maintenance on your toilet. And right now we have a clog and I am going to demonstrate how to free the toilet with the plunger. It's got this funny shape thing on the end of it that pulls up so it sits down, and that sits down inside the bowl and we put it down in there, we sort of want to get it to fill up with water and little air, because were going to try and push the clog through the toilet. That way it's got some little bit of air in there, but it's mostly got water. We are going to try and push the clog, through the toilet and then into the open pipe. So here we go, Im going to need a lot of weight on it, and do a kind of a motion where you push and then you pull it back. Its punched out, and I am going to flush it to see if we have freed t he clog, and it seems to be working fine. We are going to go on and check out the interior of the toilet.
